The house is welcoming, warm and cosy in winter, and perfect for summer living. Filled with elegant furniture, and family heirlooms, it is centrally heated throughout, with additional open fires or wood burning stoves in all the reception rooms. There is an elegant drawing room, a dramatic gothic red dining room, a huge farmhouse kitchen with a  snug area and a second elegant dining area for early breakfasts before the crowds wake, or for cards and jigsaws. Upstairs are 8 bedrooms for 16 people in 6 doubles, one triple and one single bedrooms. There are 4 bathrooms, (two optional ensuite). Two of the bathrooms have walk in showers and 3 of them have baths). Two more loos downstairs. GUEST REVIEW

One of the most homely and well equipped places I have stayed. Charlie and Amanda have thought of everything to make you stay the best ever experience. The house is stunning with super views and countryside to explore. We were a group of 17 and there is ample spaces to sit and eat together or have some quiet time in one of the comfortable lounges. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and we have made some precious memories with friends and family - and Charlie and Amanda' house was the perfect location. Thank you so much!
